Otrivin Adult Nasal Drops can be used by Adults and Children over 12 years of age, who are suffering from nasal congestion due to colds, hay fever or other allergic rhinitis and sinusitis. Otrivin Junior is available for children aged 6-11 years

For adults and adolescents over 12 years old who favor drop format for relief of nasal congestion. 2 to 3 drops per nostril. Use 2-3 times daily, as necessary. Do not exceed 3 applications in each nostril daily. Do not use more often than every 8-10 hours. Do not exceed the recommended dosage.
1. Blow nose gently to clear
2. Tilt head back
3. Without touching the dropper to the nose, apply the drops into each nostril and keep the head tilted back for a short time to allow the drops to spread throughout the nose
4. If the drop completely misses your nose, administer the drop again.
5. If any part of the drop gets into your nose, do not administer the drop again.
6. Repeat in other nostril
7. Clean and dry the dropper before replacing it back into the bottle right after use.
Use Otrivin for:
Fast, temporary, relief of a blocked or runny nose caused by colds, flu, sinusitis, hay fever or other allergic rhinitis.
Who can use Otrivin:
Adults and children 12 years and over. Otrivin junior is available for children aged 6-11 years.
Dosage:
- Adults and children 12 years and over: 2 or 3 drops per nostril.
- Use 2-3 times daily, as necessary.
- Do not use more often than every 8-10 hours.
- Do not exceed the recommended dosage.
Do not use Otrivin:
- If under 12 years.
- If you are allergic to Xylometazoline.
- After recent operations through the nose or mouth.
- If you have narrow angle glaucoma.
- If you have inflammatory nasal dryness.
Ask your doctor before use:
- If you are pregnant or breastfeeding or trying to become pregnant.
- If you have any other medical conditions.
- If you are taking other medicines.
Do not use if cap seal is missing or broken.
Do not use Otrivin:
- If under 12 years.
- If you are allergic to Xylometazoline or any other ingredients of this medicine.
- After recent operations through the nose or mouth.

- If you have inflammatory nasal dryness.
Ask your doctor or pharmacist before use:
- If you are pregnant or breast feeding or trying to become pregnant.
- If you have any other medical conditions.
- If you are taking other medicines.
· If congestion persists for more than 3 days, seek medical advice
· Do not use for more than 3 days unless advised by a pharmacist or doctor
· Each pack should be used by only one person, for reasons of hygiene
· Brief stinging sensation or sneezing may occur
· Excessive use may damage lining of nose
· If irritation occurs or if you have signs of allergy, discontinue use
· Do not use in or around the eyes.
